Dry Needling

Dry Needling is a therapy whereby an acupuncture needle is inserted into active trigger points in the muscular system to deactivate the referred pain and tenderness within the muscle.

Trigger points are defined as hyperirritable bands in a tender muscle that can refer pain to a distant point. They may also cause distant motor and automimic effects.

By using dry needling in these points there can be an immediate reduction in local and referred pain and restoration of normal motion and muscle activation patterns.

Massage

Remedial, Deep Tissue, Sports, Relaxation (with or without hot stones).

Remedial massage includes specific techniques that are used to address your body tension, postural tightness and/or joint issues.
Remedial massage may help treat tight muscles causing aches and may speed up the body's own healing processes.
A hot stone massage is a type of massage therapy used to help you relax and ease tense muscles and damaged soft tissues throughout your body. We combine these therapies to treat the tight muscles and help you feel relaxed in your session for a great overall experience.

Infrared Sauna

An infrared sauna is an enclosed space fitted with infrared lighting which emits light waves at a frequency that the body experiences as warmth.
Infrared light has a range of wavelengths. The infrared spectrum consists of near (NIR), mid (MIR), and far (FIR) infrared waves, each with distinct characteristics and frequency ranges.

Scientists have established that infrared waves are beneficial to the human body as they increase the thermal energy in the body.

This sauna has all 3 ranges of infrared waves.
Infrared saunas are an effective tool for natural healing and prevention of chronic illness to enable people to live healthier lives. Why? Because infrared light has the ability to penetrate our bodies at a cellular level to produce a range of health benefits.
Proven health benefits from infrared saunas include relieving stress, lowering blood pressure, relieving muscle and joint pain, detoxification, weight loss, improved circulation, and cleaning out skin pores.
